  Butter is composed of thickener calcium and basic lubricating oil, and its structure is relatively dispersed.However, if the car is running for a long time under overload, the butter will be separated, resulting in no oil film, and the cross shaft will be in a state of semi-dry friction or dry friction during operation.After the grease has deteriorated and evaporated, it will not have the lubricating effect and will hinder the transmission.The oil film of butter has poor toughness and cannot be used in the large torque and negative force of the cross shaft universal coupling.Universal couplingUnder the load, a good oil film is formed.

  In order to make the cross universal joint more durable and life-span, some maintenance measures need to be taken.When it is used, it should be fully lubricated, and its bearing part should be added with an appropriate amount of grease once a week when it just starts to run.After it works normally, it can be lubricated once a quarter, and at the same time, pay attention to using an appropriate amount of grease.
