Introduction and Selection of Cross Shaft Universal Coupling

    The cross shaft universal coupling is one of the most commonly used couplings.Utilizing the characteristics of its structure, it can make two shafts that are not on the same axis or with a large angle of axis (10° -35°) or with large axial movement continue to rotate at equal angular speed, and transmit torque and motion reliably.Its main features are: 1. It has a large angle compensation capability. 2. The structure is compact and reasonable. 3. Large carrying capacity. 4. High transmission efficiency.Used for high-power transmission, energy saving effect is obvious. 5. Stable transportation, low noise, convenient assembly and disassembly and maintenance.

Selection of Cross Shaft Universal Coupling

Tc=T×K=9N/n×K ≤ Tn or Tf
In the formula: Tc calculates the torque KN.m
     T-theoretical torque KN.m
     TC a nominal torque KN.m (see parameter table)
     Tf-Fatigue torque KN.m (used in frequent forward and reverse rotation)
     N-drive power KW
     n-Coupling working speed r/min
     K-comprehensive coefficient generally choose K=1.2-3.0, or refer to JB/T 3241-91,
     JB/T 5513-91, JB/T 3243-93 and JB/2Q 4383-96 and other standard reference coefficient calculations.
