Cold drawing machine
The cold drawing machine is mainly used for drawing ferrous and non-ferrous metal materia EPT (pipes and bars) at normal temperature. The blank pipe (rod) becomes the finished pipe (rod) with the desired shape, diameter, precision and high mechanical properties strongly stretched by the machine. There are many types of cold drawing machines, which mainly are categorized as two types according to the different types of transmission, namely chain type cold drawing machine and hydraulic cold drawing machine.
Chain type cold drawing machine
The chain type cold drawing machine refers to that the drawing car is driven by a sprocket chain system, which has two main types, single-chained and double- chained.
Double- chained cold drawing machine
Performance specification
The main transmission of the double-chained cold drawing machine drives two chains at the same time, and the two chains are on the same machine body, which together drive a drawing car to work. The drawing car is fixed with the chain, and moves forward and backward driven by the chains’ continuous reciprocates.
Due to the different structure, the double-chained cold drawing machine has obvious advantages compared with the single-chained cold drawing machine:
1. high level of mechanization and automation for loading, unloading and receiving, shortening the auxiliary operation time and drawing paces, reducing the operator’s labor intensity;
2.The drawing center line and the chain tension line basically coincide, and the drawing process is stable, which is beneficial to ensure the quality of the finished product, increasing the drawing speed and reducing the working noise.;
3.Chain size is small which is easy for manufacturing and maintenance.
From the development experience of cold drawing industry in developed countries, the double-chain cold drawing machine replaces the single-chain cold drawing machine is the inevitable trend.
